As a high-end Christmas ornament product, the manufacturing process of inner-painted glass Christmas ball is complex. Inside painting is a century-old art form treasured by collectors. Our artists use a tiny L-shaped brush, pass through a small opening on the top, and paint on the inner surface of each ball. This process requires a high degree of proficiency and creativity. Most artists are trained for more than ten years to master the skill; their works are rich in color and vivid in imagery. No two products are exactly the same; each ornament is a unique artwork.
In China, the art of inner painting originated during the era of Emperor Jia Qing of the Qing Dynasty, with a history of over 200 years. Skilled painters began decorating the interiors of transparent glass bottles or crystal pots with figures, landscapes, flowers, and birds. Today, this craftsmanship is applied to a wider range of products, including our inside-painted Christmas balls, representing a unique combination of Western culture and traditional Chinese craftsmanship.
